Acknowledgement of Country

Anima Clinica acknowledges the Wiradjuri people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Land our clinic is located on. We pay our respect to the Elders both past and present and emerging of the Wiradjuri Nation and extend that respect to all Indigenous Australians.

Our History

It is said that the original 100 Russell Street building was built for John, the Earl of Kingston Russell, Dorsetshire and completed in 1834. During Sir John’s’ first term at the Colonial Office, one of his most significant achievements was his part in the Australian policy and the issue of an Order in Council, dated the 1st of May 1840, to stop convict transportation to New South Wales.

100 Russell Street was purchased by Dr Andrew Frukacz and Nadia Zanco in 2005 and was, at that time, rented to students of Charles Sturt University. In 2009 Nadia, Kellie O'Shea and builder Darrell Johnson commenced a complete refurbishment of the original property and the addition of the sympathetic extension to the premises that you see today.

Clinic Etiquette

Convenient parking is available at the Bathurst Information and Neighbourhood Centre Car Park, accessible from the rear of our practice. We also have designated disabled parking on-site.

To ensure a smooth experience, we kindly request that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows time for a comfort break, completing any necessary paperwork, and addressing any pre-appointment requirements.

For the safety and comfort of all our patients, we regret to inform you that we are unable to supervise children. We kindly ask that children not accompany you to the clinic, or if they do, that they are under the supervision of an adult at all times.

To maintain a peaceful environment, we request that mobile phone usage and loud conversations be avoided in our public areas and during your appointment.

As a health-conscious practice, smoking is strictly prohibited on or around our premises at all times.

Thank you for your cooperation in creating a pleasant and respectful atmosphere for everyone at our clinic.
